legs dangling over just like the moss and sedges
no food for my belly so i'll just nourish my soul
sittin' by a waterfall thought all of you should know
i couldn't lose the sound of cars so i just drowned them out
this waterfall has rhythm its music to my ears
a cascade never-ending that could wash away our tears
today i'm smiling in the sun i play to waterfalls

up here where the air is clear and the wind whistles through the trees
sit still for long enough you'll hear the birdsong upon the breeze

i couldn't lose the sound of cars so i just drowned them out
this waterfall has rhythm its music to my ears
a cascade neverending that could wash away our fears

it carries all this water from up high to down below
